Terry (Owner here at For The Birds) had the privilege yesterday of joining Clemson University Wildlife and Ecology Professor and Ornithologist, Dr. Drew Lanham, on the new Sunny 107.9 radio call in show "Just Ask Us!"
The normal co-host, Patrick McMillan, is a real birder and would have been on air but he wasn’t feeling well, so Terry was able to fill in. (Terry says that’s how Tom Brady got his start. :) )
Terry and Dr. Drew had a wonderful time and the show was filled with helpful and interesting information about birds and birding, including migration, how to attract migrating birds to your feeders, and the potential impact on birds during Hurricane Matthew.
The call-in radio show on birding will broadcast on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am on Sunny 107.9 WFBS-LP and online atwww.wfbsfm.com.
Some 7,000 people were listening in online yesterday! (They don’t know exactly how many listened on the radio.)
